Rebecca Murphy, Psy.D., L.P.

Dr. Murphy (she/her) is a Licensed Psychologist (L.P.) with a doctorate degree (Psy.D.) in Counseling Psychology. She has diverse experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in a variety of settings, including school-based mental health, outpatient clinics, and child/adolescent day treatment programs. She has specialized training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and mindfulness-based treatment. Dr. Murphy completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and her master's and doctorate degrees in Psychology at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Dr. Murphy completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Minnesota Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Murphy is a member of the Society for Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology of the American Psychological Association and credentialed as a National Register Health Service Psychologist. She is also an approved supervisor with the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy (BBHT) for both LPC and LPCC applicants.
In her free time, Dr. Murphy enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and children and going for walks.
