Mariana Colón (she/her) is currently pursuing her master's degree (MA) in counseling psychology at the University of St. Thomas. Prior to this, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Mariana has previous experience working with preschool-aged children with developmental and other emotional disorders, engaging in play therapy.
Mariana believes that every client’s story deserves to be heard and works to create a safe and welcoming space for them to do so. She has a deep commitment to fostering safety, empathy, and growth in every client interaction. Her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, OCD, life transitions, grief and loss, and identity exploration.
In her free time, Mariana enjoys coaching lacrosse, reading, taking her dog (Kip) on adventures, and relaxing at home.
Mariana is a student clinician working under the supervision of Dr. Rebecca Murphy.
