Ms. Lindsay Shackelton is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a master's degree (M.A.) in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas. Lindsay completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. Lindsay is certified in the treatment of perinatal mental health disorders by Postpartum Support International. She has been trained in providing mental health treatment to those struggling with infertility through the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Lindsay is trained in exposure and response prevention through the Cognitive Behavior Institute and is trained in providing trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.
Lindsay specializes in working with adolescents and young adults, with particular interests in depression, anxiety, infertility, and perinatal mental health.
She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Strengths Based Therapy.
In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, playing with her dog and cooking.
**Lindsay sees clients in the Woodbury location as well as via telehealth.
