Ms. Lindsay Shackelton is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a master's degree (M.A.) in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas. Lindsay completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. She has experience working in a variety of settings including in-home, residential, school-based settings, and outpatient clinics. She has specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is a certified Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP) Therapist. She is also working towards a mental health certification in infertility from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Lindsay specializes in working with adolescents and young adults, with particular interests in depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Strengths Based Therapy.
In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, playing with her dog and cooking.
