Jen Mahlke (she/her) is pursuing her master’s degree (M.A.) in Counseling Psychology at the University of St. Thomas. Prior to this, Jen received a B.A. in Psychology from University of Northwestern, St. Paul. Jen has previous work experience within the mental health field as an executive assistant and play therapist intern at a private practice.
As an aspiring therapist, Jen aims to provide a therapeutic relationship in which her clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. She is interested in the topics of depression, anxiety, attachment, life transitions and trauma.
In her free time, Jen enjoys gardening, reading, board games, and spending time with loved ones.
Jen is a pre-licensed clinician and is working under the supervision of Lindsay Shackelton, MA, LPCC, PMH-C.
