Ella Pederson (she/her) is currently pursuing her master’s degree (M.A.) in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas. Prior to this, she earned her bachelor’s degree (B.S) in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Ella has previous experience facilitating a peer support group for anxiety and panic. She also has worked with children and adolescents across the developmental span in educational settings.
Ella understands that every person is unique and believes in meeting her clients where they are. She also believes in the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship and creating a safe space for clients. She is interested in anxiety, depression, life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ identity exploration.
In her free time Ella enjoys reading, watching movies, playing with her dog, and spending time with friends and family.
Ella is a pre-licensed clinician working under the supervision of Lindsay Shackelton, MA, LPCC, PMH-C.
