Elliot Nuckols, MPS, LADC, LPCC

Elliot Nuckols (they/he) is a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) and licensed drug and alcohol counselor (LADC). They completed their bachelor’s degree in psychology at Western Kentucky University and their master’s degree in integrated behavioral health at the University of Minnesota. Elliot works with families, individuals ages 13 and up, and couples/partners.
Much of Elliot’s work is with folks who are exploring their gender identities and people who identify as trans or gender nonconforming. Elliot especially enjoys helping folks to find empowerment and peace in their identities and to navigate the challenges that often, unfortunately accompany this self-discovery. In addition to gender-related work, Elliot has experience treating anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, sexual identity/health concerns, relationship conflict/miscommunication, existential questions, and more. While Elliot’s approach to therapy is quite individualized, they primarily work out of cognitive behavioral, existential, and feminist theory.
Elliot is a member of the American Counseling Association and is allied with/works with LGBTQIA+ folks; sex workers; kinky people; and veterans/military families.
In their free time, Elliot enjoys playing the guitar, reading, working out, and bingeing scary movies.
