Andrea Larson is a licensed school counselor (MA) and a pre-licensed clinician, working towards her LPCC. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English and Secondary Education from the University of North Dakota and her master’s degree from St. Cloud State University. Andrea completed her LPCC coursework through Adler Graduate School in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
With twenty-nine years of experience in secondary education, Andrea brings deep commitment to supporting children, adolescents, and adults through life’s challenges. She believes in honoring each person’s unique story and lived experiences while walking alongside clients as they seek clarity, healing, direction and hope.
Andrea has experience working with anxiety disorders, including Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, as well as ADHD, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, adolescent mood disorders, and conduct-related concerns. She incorporates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support clients in reaching their goals.
Outside of her clinical work, Andrea enjoys reading, exercising, cooking and spending time with her three young adult children.
